Warmer Kiwi Homes with Waikato Insulation
The Warmer Kiwi Homes program, funded by the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) of New Zealand, provides government grants to help make New Zealand homes warmer, drier, and more energy efficient. It offers 50% to 90% off the cost of ceiling underfloor insulation and ground moisture barrier, and in many cases, contributions toward energy-efficient heating for eligible homeowners.
The program targets low-income households and those living in areas of high deprivation, aiming to improve health and comfort while reducing energy costs. By partnering with approved service providers across the country, Warmer Kiwi Homes makes it easier and more affordable for New Zealanders to create healthier living environments.
As an authorized sub-contactor to PIL Group Ltd, we have the ability to offer and access funding and subsidies under the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme. Insulation and heating are essential for creating a warm, dry, and healthy home environment.
Our grants cover 50%-100% of the cost for approved insulation and up to 80% for approved heating systems.
We’ve updated our eligibility criteria to support more homeowners. If you own and live in a home built before 2008, and either reside in a lower-income area or have a Community Services Card, you may qualify for insulation, heating, or both.
Please note that due to high demand in certain regions, there may be a wait of several months for service providers. However, we encourage you to apply now and secure your spot on the list.
